Android Assault is a side-scrolling shooter where players control a space fighter that can transform into a cyborg named Bari-Arm. The goal is to stop the Xias, an alien race threatening Earth. Players must navigate through various stages, including asteroid fields, planet surfaces, and underwater environments, defeating enemies and powerful bosses. The game features a variety of weapons and power-ups to help players survive and progress through the story, which is told through animated cutscenes.
A great horizontal Shoot Em Up for the Sega CD, for which there were very few. Take control of a humanoid mecha and battle through expansive, colorful stages full of parallax scrolling and big boss fights. Anime style cut-scenes and CD audio bring the action to life even further. I have personally reformatted the artwork for the DVD cover and re-did the disc artwork from scratch while staying true to the original look.
