Wild Woody is a platformer adventure game where you play as a sentient pencil named Woody. After an enchanted Totem Pole releases a dangerous parallel universe, Woody is tasked with rounding up the Totem spirits.
Woody’s unique abilities include jumping on enemies, erasing obstacles, and sketching objects to life. As he progresses through the game, he’ll encounter various challenges, power-ups, and bizarre creatures.
Notable for it’s controversial and suggestive name of it’s protagonist and some of the graphics such as the infamous mermaid, but it does have a quite a Rock n Roll soundtrack. This is no Sonic CD that’s for sure but worth a look for it’s interesting, almost “meta” game-play mechanic, as well as for historical purposes to see what all the fuss was about.
