Soulstar is a unique 3D shoot-’em-up for the Sega CD/Mega CD that blends multiple gameplay styles. Players take on the role of Bryk Hammelt, a warrior pilot tasked with defending the Soulstar system from the energy-draining Myrkoids. The game features both fixed-path levels reminiscent of classic rail shooters and open-world levels that allow for free exploration. Additionally, players can transform their spacecraft into a walker robot for intense close-quarters combat.
