Charlotte, Jufei Yagyu, Tam Tam, Nakoruru and her flame-belching eagle… they’re all here – each with his/her own lethal weaponry and “Methods of Mayhem.” Now there’s nowhere to hide!

The game features CD-based audio tracks, replacing those from the Genesis version. Also includes the original style winner screens and story moments much closer to the Neo Geo version. One point of contention is the removal of the background judge (referee) who is present in the Genesis cart. although interestingly enough later iterations in the Neo Geo series would also see their removal from the background such as Samurai Shodown III.
