This patch uses the re-recorded voice lines from the PSP version. Please use the contact page if you want the original English dub from the PS1 release instead. Please note that the Ultimate Fork (PSX Script) hack of the Ultimate patch may have potential bugs or issues – purchase at your own risk. I have patched the PSX script version myself and it’s tested as working during both the Dracula intro fight and the Death encounter scenes without any dialogue mis-match but I have not done a full playthrough and may not have the time.

Having been awoken from his eternal slumber by the reappearance of Castlevania, Alucard must once again face the evil minions of darkness. Use your vampiric powers, along with weapons, potions and other magical relics to change the tide of battle.

A mixture of platform and roleplaying action with many hidden areas and secrets. Can you discover them all?

Symphony of the Night is a direct sequel to Rondo of Blood. Unlike the previous installments of the series, the game is set in a castle which the player can explore freely with many different paths, although often items in certain areas need to be found that will allow passage to others.

The Saturn release adds two new areas to the castle (the Underground Garden and the Haunted Path), a third playable character (Maria), and a few new remixed music tracks.
