Mail, a young and enthusiastic elf bounty hunter, is always facing setbacks. Her latest mission, which involved capturing a notorious criminal, ended in disappointment when the body escaped, leaving her with only the head. Determined to make up for her losses, Mail takes on a new mission: capturing a powerful wizard terrorizing the land.
Popful Mail is a unique action-adventure game where players control Mail as she explores maze-like levels, fights enemies, and collects items. The game emphasizes exploration and puzzle-solving, with a focus on platforming and combat. Mail’s attacks are simple, relying on physical contact with enemies, defeating them by simply running into or jumping on top. The game also features friendly zones where players can purchase upgrades and items to aid in their quest.
Please note: this is a Japanese language game. Although, being more action oriented than RPG makes things more playable. It’s basically an action game in most respects with some platforming and light RPG elements. For the dialogue, you can try using the Google translate app’s photo mode to decipher what’s on screen when you need.
