In a world where technology and magic coexist, the Magic Empire rules over a vast, barren wasteland. A group of four treasure hunters discover a mysterious purple stone worth a million credits. They find it, but it’s stolen by another group with sinister plans. The heroes must now retrieve the stone while facing dangerous enemies.
Mystic Formula is a top-down shooter where you play as one of the four treasure hunters. You’ll navigate through hostile environments, fight enemies and bosses, and avoid their attacks. You can choose from a balanced leader, a fire-shooting elf, an agile thief, or a powerful robot. You can upgrade your ranged attacks and even summon a teammate for help. The game also features two-player mode.
Features character artwork by the late animator Kunihiro Abe who’s notable credits include the Gundam franchise, Bubblegum Crisis, Armitage III, and much more. The game also has extensive voice acting by famous Japanese language voice actors known across anime.
