Bazaru de Gozaru no Game de Gozaru is a puzzle game where players “program” the actions of a monkey named Bazaru to safely navigate trap-filled stages. Unlike Lemmings, players control only one monkey and must pre-plan its actions at specific marked spots before it starts moving. Levels begin simple with few actions, but become increasingly complex, requiring the monkey to perform actions like running, jumping, rolling, pushing, and sitting (with new actions learned as the game progresses). Players must carefully study levels, predict enemy behavior and physics, as the monkey can easily get trapped or harmed. Many levels have multiple solutions, with harder alternate solutions often rewarding players with collectibles.
