Nekketsu Legend Baseballer is an RPG set in a world where baseball is central to life. Teams compete using spiritual moves, magic, and robots. A demon has recently taken over, and a villain called the Dark Baseballer is using baseball for evil. A group of young people must restore justice.
The game plays like a traditional JRPG with a top-down world, towns, and dungeons, focusing on party management and leveling up. However, all aspects are baseball-themed. Turn-based battles are less frequent but longer, as players control groups of “baseball robots” and use actions named after real baseball moves for offense and defense. The game does not feature a traditional baseball simulation.
