Valis II is an action-adventure game that follows a similar storyline to its computer counterpart. The protagonist, Yuko, transforms into the Valis Soldier to combat the tyrannical ruler Megas and restore peace to the magical world of Vecanti.
While the core plot remains the same, the gameplay mechanics in this version diverge from the computer releases. The game features six stages with unique level designs and enemies, but lacks the ability to equip different weapons and armor, as well as the flying side-scrolling shooter segments found in the original versions.
