Renny Blaster PC Engine CD Reproduction
Renny Blaster is one of the very last games produced for the console. An interesting hybrid of a game that combines Action, Beat Em Up, Platformer and a lot of grown-up story elements throughout. While it may involve vampires and the supernatural don’t expect Dracula X here. Still a decent entry for the console which is certainly light on Beat Em Ups and it’s a unique one at that as it’s a side-scroller (like Galaxy Deka Gayvan) with darker vibes overall. You also have various special moves that differ depending on which of the two main characters you choose. Add to that some detailed hand drawn illustrations used to tell the story during cut-scenes. Worth a shot for anyone looking for something a little bit different and at times quite bizarre.
