Dr. Killbait, a mad scientist, has resurrected an ancient dragon, threatening the kingdom of Hyneld. Robin Solford, a knight, witnesses the attack and vows to stop the threat and find his missing adoptive sister, Patricia.
Startling Odyssey II is a prequel to the original game, focusing on Robin Solford’s story. It’s a traditional Japanese RPG where players explore a fantasy world, encounter random battles, and level up their party members. The game features anime-style cutscenes and voice acting, enhancing the storytelling experience.
Startling Odyssey 2 is indeed a very nice JRPG addition to the console which had very few released in the US but tons more in Japan. One of the great things about this game is that even though it’s the second in the series it’s actually a prequel and you really don’t have to know anything about the first and can jump right in, which is great!
