The time-traveling tournament returns in World Heroes 2, bringing back the original eight fighters alongside six new contenders from various eras and locations. To uncover the mystery of who organized this new competition, the strongest warrior must defeat every opponent and claim the ultimate title.

This sequel introduces fresh stages, new music, and enhanced animation and graphics. Gameplay mechanics are upgraded to allow players to reflect projectile attacks and reverse standard throws with precise timing. Additionally, the signature Death Match mode returns with a revamped life bar system that fluctuates based on damage dealt and received, where pushing the meter to 100% secures an automatic victory.

This port is another awesome arcade conversion from the Neo Geo, adding to the showcase for the Arcade Card expansion.
