Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams is a truly Fantastic horizontal Shoot Em Up, and arguably the best port available of the Sega arcade original. You play as Cotton, a cute witch riding a broomstick, and battle through stages full of imagination and bizarre creatures. With it’s cute-horror aesthetic, magical power ups, loads of parallax, huge bosses, and even a friendly fairy that fights along side of you, it’s easy to see why this is such a beloved classic. Surely, not your usual futuristic, alien-blasting “Space Shooter” and a nice change of pace for anyone looking for something different, fun and perhaps a little macabre. While this is the JP version, you can actually set your language to English in the Options menu!
